Arrive early and stay late. Cheer, clap, and encourage others. Anything less is to cheat yourself of the experience, and to rob others of the gift of your presence and support as part of the community. Besides, if you’re late, it’s 10 burpees per minute.

Accidents and injuries. happen and usually come as a result of impatience. Don’t be greedy. Slow down. Ask questions. Ask for help. Check your ego at the door.

Empty Barbells. were not designed to be dropped (neither were dumbbells or kettlebells). We don’t want our toys, our rubber flooring, you, or someone else broken unnecessarily.

Chalk. is useful, even necessary. It is also messy. Use as much as you need, but keep the excess inside the chalk bucket because all the extra dust keeps breaking our shop vac!

Clean up.and put away all equipment after each workout. Clean up sweat, spit, blood, chalk, dirt, vomit, handprints, and whatever else you’ve left behind.

Loud Sounds.Grunting, screaming, and otherwise making noise are all welcome and encouraged during a workout. There is such a thing as gentle, quiet strength, although most of us haven’t mastered that yet. Also remember that there can be such a thing as too loud, whiny, gross, or rude – please be respectful to your fellow 724 team members.

Wear clothing that keeps your private areas private. We know that you’ve worked hard for that amazing physique but this isn’t really the place to show if off. Don’t worry, if you don’t know if your attire is acceptable, a person of our staff will discuss it with you privately.

Bring things to our attention. If you notice that equipment is broken, lights are out, there’s no toilet paper, bring it to our attention so we can do something about it please.

Try hard. Effort earns respect. Work hard. Don’t drag people down with a bad attitude. Be optimistic, have fun and push yourself and those around you to do better.

Go heavy or go home. The only way to get stronger is to increase the load. Always strive to go a little heavier and a little faster. Never say, “I can’t.” When you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done. “Don’t be afraid to Push Yourself”

Don’t cheat. No one cares what your score was. Everyone cares if you cheated. Be honest with everyone else, and be honest with yourself. You know what full range of motion is, so there’s no excuse for shoddy reps. If a coach calls you out for doing something wrong or helps you with your form, listen to them. They are here to help you get better and are not doing it for any other reason but that!

Learn how to count. If you lose count, the next number is always 1. If you know you have trouble keeping count, ask someone to count for you. If you want to get on a leaderboard, you MUST have someone count for you. If no one saw it, it didn’t happen.

Take ownership. Be responsible and respectful and take pride in your gym. Don’t let others get away with things that are bad for them or bad for the gym. Remind people to take their clothes with them and pick up their water bottles. If you think you see someone doing something that you’re pretty sure will hurt them, tell a coach. We don’t care who it is — if Sam or Keith is deadlifting with a rounded back, you can bring it to a coaches attention and we will address it! Safety first!

We Love Kids.here at Crossfit 724 and think it’s important for them to see their parents leading active, healthy lives. However, we also want to keep kids and everyone else in our gym safe. This is why we ask that kids in the gym be under the supervision of an adult at all times, an adult who is not working out, and who can make sure the kids stay off the gym floor at all times. We just can’t run the risk of having your kids or our athletes getting hurt.
